This course is designed to introduce you to the quantitative and qualitative social science research process.  Over the course of the semester, you will learn how to design research studies related to student affairs and higher education, and you will use your expanding knowledge of research design to develop your own project, thesis, or dissertation proposal.

Provides an introduction to higher education research methodologies, analysis, and decision-making through introduction of basics of research design including problem identification, literature review, method selection, data collection and analysis, application, writing, and ethics. May not be repeated for credit.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Enrollment is limited to Graduate, Non-Degree or Undergraduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
