While the Religion, Culture, and Values concentration is accepting applications for Spring 2019, prospective students should be aware that the curriculum will be undergoing major revision starting in Fall 2019. Applicants should consider delaying their application until Fall 2019 if their plans allow. Please contact Interdisciplinary Studies (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about these changes.
The MAIS concentration in religion, culture, and values is particularly relevant for students who are interested in careers in law, national and international government, print and media journalism, library sciences, archives and museums, public and social service, teaching, advanced graduate studies, and religious communities and institutions. The Washington, D.C., metropolitan area is rich in the presence of many major religious traditions and their places of worship.
