AmeriCorps Awards $3.7 Million to Universities Researching Civic Life in America: Institute for Immigration Research Among the Recipients

WASHINGTON, D.C.— AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism, has selected 21 universities to receive more than $3.7 million for the 2022 National Service and Civic Engagement Funding Opportunity. Selected organizations will research five priority areas, including volunteer management, societal and national understanding of national service, civic infrastructure in communities, and AmeriCorps VISTA and AmeriCorps Seniors programmatic interests.
