Kathy E. Hollinger, MAIS ’96, is being honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award. She is president and CEO of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW). Since 2012, her visionary leadership has guided the regional trade organization representing thousands of restaurants and the foodservice industry.

MAIS graduate receives award for their work in advocating for social justice, equality, and inclusivity at Mason.

Since graduating with a MAIS is Religion, Culture & Values, Andrew Thrasher has landed an Adjunct Instructor position with Tidewater Community College, will be presenting a paper abroad at the 10th Annual Polish Philosophical Congress and is also pursuing a Master's of Divinity.

MAIS alumna Danielle Blunt has founded Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead, Inc. (GIRL), which empowers middle and high school girls to navigate educational and social challenges.
