Volunteer Opportunity: Food Recovery Network

"Want to reduce food waste and support your community members in need? Join the GMU Food Recovery Network today!
Starting on Tuesday, February 18th, FRN will be collecting and packaging surplus food at Southside Dining Hall and distributing it to local shelters for people experiencing homelessness. There will be two shifts every week: on Tuesdays and on Fridays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Join us for one or both shifts!
Please meet us in the lobby of Southside, and wear close-toed shoes and a hair tie for longer hair. We will provide gloves, hair nets, and other supplies. Let us know if you need volunteer hours for a class and we'll work with you!
