Assistant Director for STEP, First Gen+ Center; AJ's work revolves around helping first-generation college students like her successfully transition into college. Her course work in Women and Gender Studies gave her, "the language to speak to student experiences, the understanding required to provide care, and the theory to make sense of complex real life issues."
