For Current Students


While every Interdisciplinary Studies concentration involves different degree paths, all students must meet the following requirements in order to finish their degrees:

  1. MAIS 796: Proseminar (1 credit), taken in the first 2 semesters or 9 credits.
  2. MAIS 797: Proposal Writing (1 credit), taken after completion of 21 credits and a research methods course (if required).
  3. capstone research project or thesis (1-3 credits of MAIS 798: Project or MAIS 799: Thesis).
